Just your average café, offered products are not that unique compared to other coffee shops
Coffee tasted burnt, customer service was horrible, talked to me like I was dumb, complained about having to toast my bagel, couldn’t make hot coffee flavors iced and were mad when I asked. They either need better training or new employees. Take the short walk to Starbucks. 100% do not recommend.
The customer service is HORRIBLE at COFFEE BEAN, not friendly, don't acknowledge customers, they definitely could use some training on customer service, and of few of them are rude especially ALEX, I enjoy the product but can't say the same for CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!!!

The customer service does not answer they’ve had the outgoing message due to Covid they’re not answering their calls yet Starbucks is answering their calls all along you sign up for their program yet you don’t get points when you go into the restaurant they say the computers work half the time customer service doesn’t send you an email response back very poor way of doing business they shouldn’t have incentives when they don’t honor them

Its been a week since I've informed Coffee Bean about their filty dirty bathrooms on La Palma n Walker, n still no response u would think they would be concern especially knowing about Covid

I'm a Coffee Bean loyal customer for many years now in the Middle East
I'm a Coffee Bean loyal customer in the Middle East now for so many years, when they've changed the owner the menu became more poor,very limited items,plus there's NOT any vegan food items too!
Never ever they're giving any complimentary to loyal customers,not even on International Coffee Day on the 1st of October.They're not having any point system cards as well anymore,as mentioned,since another owner(local owner unfortunately) took over,everything became more poor,crappy.The owner obviously doesn't have any knowledge about people's food allergies/intolerances for not having any vegan food items.

Coffee Bean stole the money from my family's gift cards
My family and I have several Coffee Bean gift cards. Two of my family members wanted to give their money to me because they know I (used to) like Coffee Bean. I emailed customer service to see if they could be combined into one card. Instead of honoring that request, they said that I had improperly accessed other people's (my family's) accounts. They shut down those accounts and zeroed out the gift card balances. They would not return the money even after all the cardholders asked for the money back. They confiscated about $59 of gift card money from us.
California law states that the value on a gift card belongs to the beneficiary, not to the issuer, so I don't see why they think they can confiscate the gift card funds, but it's just me against them. After weeks of emails with customer service, they will only return the money if we provide receipts for the gift cards, which we don't have because most of the cards were gifts.
I strongly advise avoiding Coffee Bean--but especially their gift cards. I hope you consider my experience--where Coffee Bean steals our money and demands a receipt to use our gift cards--before buying a Coffee Bean gift card or giving them any of your business.

I have always been so happy with my experience is at this coffee bean & tea leaf. The vanilla frappuccino and coffee cake are all great!
Fraud. I could not redeem the gift card online that I received for my birthday. There is no one to answer the phones and no one replies to support requests. They have literally stolen the money of myself and family member who bought the gift card. It has all the hallmarks of a scam. This company is a fraud. Steer clear.
